Neurogenetics consists of genetic conditions which affects brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles in an individual. It can occur at birth, later in childhood or even during adulthood. Types of neurogenetic conditions:
- Neurodegenerative disorders: Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) etc.
- Neurodevelopmental disorders: Autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delay etc.
